Getting Started Guide

Use the Getting Started Guide to choose which software option is best for you and to get up and running quickly.

Installation Guide

The Reporting Software Installation Guide is for anyone installing the software for the first time or upgrading from a previous version.  Decide which option is best for you, then download and install the PRL Reporting Software.

User Guides

After you have installed a Reporting Software Option, explore their features in the appropriate user guide:

  • Option A – Desktop software for Windows which provides electronic data entry forms similar to the paper forms.  We recommend this option for most users who have application or sales data to report.
  • Option B – A desktop application that requires Microsoft Excel on Windows.  This option is recommended for users of Excel, but does require some additional configuration.
  • Option C – This desktop application is for users who export their PRL report files from a third-party application and want to validate the files.
  • Option D – Formatted Excel spreadsheets with none of the features provided by Option B.  This option is recommended for users having difficulty installing Option B, users with small amounts of data to enter or Macintosh users of Excel.

Data Guides

Have questions about what data to enter in the PRL Reporting Software?  See the guidelines for each of the four PRL forms:

  • Form 26 – Use this form to report your pesticide applications.
  • Form 26A – This form is for businesses that report for multiple applicators.
  • Form 25 – Pesticide sales businesses report summarized sales of restricted use pesticides to resellers and end users using this form.
  • Form 27 – Pesticide sales businesses report retail sales to private applicators using this form.
